The Technician is responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems within the property. This role ensures that all equipment and facilities are kept in optimal condition, supporting smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction while complying with safety and quality standards.
Operations & Maintenance
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on equipment, systems, and facilities.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues as required.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls from different departments.
Carry out regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
Operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely and correctly.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety protocols and company policies during repair and maintenance work.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards (fire, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
Report any safety hazards or malfunctioning equipment to supervisors immediately.
Team Support
Assist Engineering Supervisor and Duty Engineer in daily operations.
Cooperate with colleagues to complete repair and maintenance tasks efficiently.
Support external contractors when required for specialized work.
Record Keeping
Maintain accurate logs of repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.
Update supervisors on work progress and equipment conditions.
Required:
Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, or related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in facility or hotel maintenance.
Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and respond to emergency calls.
Preferred:
Previous experience in hotels, resorts, or large-scale commercial buildings.
Multi-skilled technician (electrical + mechanical + plumbing).
Knowledge of safety standards and energy-saving practices.
