Production Specialist

Job Description:

1. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness around machines, workstations, and storage areas.
2. Upload and unload raw materials onto machines (welding press, spot-welding equipment) according to the production schedule.
3. Handle proper storage of incoming materials; verify orientation, spool condition, and quantities against packing lists.
4. Issue and record Production Travellers (PT) and barcode labels for physical reels and plated parts.
5. Perform reel-to-reel spot welding/joining operations accurately at the front line.
6. Conduct periodic machine setups, normal dumping cycles, and manual rewinding of finished reels.
7. Monitor and top up cell tanks (water, chemicals) and ensure scheduled waste is disposed of correctly.
8. Remove joint samples from each reel; retain on sample boards and submit to QA for inspection.
9. Perform in-process checks: camber, twist, coil-set, tape adherence, and visual inspections.
10. Identify and report machine-detected rejects; support QA in root-cause analysis.
11. Accurately record part numbers, lot numbers, and quantities in the production ledger.
12. Prepare and attach Process Travellers and packing lists for finished goods.
13. Log shift-in/out quantities and machine parameters as required.
14. Assist technicians and superiors with ad-hoc tasks; proactively seek guidance when encountering issues.
15. Participate in on-the-job training to develop skills in automation system installation and maintenance.
