The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient and safe operation of facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. This role includes electrical, mechanical, and general upkeep duties to support operational continuity and workplace safety.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facilities.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, or mechanical malfunctions.
Inspect, test, and diagnose technical issues using appropriate tools.
Replace worn or faulty components such as motors, belts, switches, or filters.
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during all maintenance tasks.
Coordinate with external contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are needed.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and inventory of tools and spare parts.
Respond to urgent maintenance requests to minimize downtime or hazard.
Support continuous improvement efforts for facility efficiency and safety.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Basic understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, or diagrams.
Problem-solving and time management abilities.
Hands-on experience in facility or industrial maintenance preferred.
