-To diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
-To oversee the installation of new equipment and machinery.
-To recommend and implement equipment upgrades to improve reliability and performance.
-To lead the problem-solving efforts within the maintenance team, assisting in the resolution of complex technical issues and troubleshooting challenges.
-To manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, tools, and spare parts, to ensure optimal utilization and productivity.
-To lead maintenance-related projects and initiatives, from planning and execution to monitoring and evaluation, ensuring that project objectives are achieved within timelines and budgets.
-To perform troubleshoot faulty equipment, execute repairs, and replace broken components proficiently.
-To train and monitor the work performance of new Maintenance Technician(s).
-To oversee the documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and spare parts inventories, and ensure that accurate records are maintained for reference and analysis.
-To respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and critical equipment failures. Take appropriate actions to minimize downtime and mitigate production losses.
-To assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and machinery. Support plant expansion projects and technology upgrades.
-To participate in compliance audits, including ISO audits, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards related to maintenance operations.
-To support quality team efforts by ensuring maintenance activities meet quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with quality team to address any maintenance-related quality issues.
