We are looking for a meticulous and organized Account Assistant to support our accounting department. The ideal candidate will handle daily financial tasks and assist in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring the smooth functioning of the company’s accounting operations.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records
Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank statements and monitor company expenses
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities
Support audits, tax filings, and other compliance-related activities
Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records
Communicate with suppliers and clients regarding payments and invoices
Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–2 years of relevant working experience preferred (fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply)
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or QuickBooks)
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Standard office hours (Monday to Friday)
May require overtime during peak periods (e.g., month-end or audit season)
Office-based environment
Full-time / Part-time / Contract (choose as applicable)
