We are seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing staff. The Assistant Manager plays a key role in maintaining smooth restaurant functions and driving team performance.
Assist in supervising front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure efficient service.
Help manage daily restaurant operations including opening, closing, and shift supervision.
Support recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management of staff.
Ensure high standards of customer service and handle guest complaints professionally.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to maintain smooth workflow.
Enforce compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Assist in budgeting, cost control, and achieving sales targets.
Report operational issues and performance metrics to the Restaurant Manager.
Step in as acting manager in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Customer-focused with problem-solving abilities.
Good organizational and multitasking skills.
Basic understanding of financial and inventory management.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office.
