The Assistant Manager in the pharmaceutical industry supports departmental operations such as sales, regulatory affairs, production, or logistics. This role works closely with senior management to ensure compliance, efficiency, and alignment with company and industry standards. The Assistant Manager also helps manage teams, optimize workflows, and contribute to the achievement of strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the department head (e.g., Sales Manager, Regulatory Affairs Manager, Operations Manager) in daily operations.
Coordinate and monitor departmental activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., GMP, GDP, FDA, or local health authorities).
Assist in developing SOPs, documentation, and internal reports as required.
Supervise and guide junior staff to ensure accurate performance and adherence to protocols.
Maintain accurate records related to quality control, production, distribution, or customer/client communications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA/QC, R&D, marketing, and logistics.
Participate in audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
Analyze performance data and suggest improvements to streamline processes or enhance quality.
Provide administrative and operational support to achieve departmental targets.
