The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for leading the company’s human resource functions, including strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee development, compensation and benefits, compliance, and industrial relations. This role ensures that HR strategies align with business goals and complies with Malaysian labor laws.
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures
Lead the recruitment and selection process for all departments
Oversee onboarding, performance management, and employee training programs
Manage payroll, benefits, and HR-related budgets
Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and industrial relations matters
Prepare HR reports for management and stakeholders
Supervise HR team (executives, assistants) and act as advisor to department heads
Strong leadership and strategic HR planning skills
Excellent knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, labor laws, and HR best practices
Proficient in payroll, compensation & benefits, and performance systems
Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
High integrity and confidentiality in HR matters
