Key Responsibilities:

  1. Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
  2. Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using the Property Management System (PMS).
  3. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner.
  4. Answer telephone calls, route calls, and take messages accurately.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel room rates, promotions, events, and facilities.
  6. Prepare and issue room keys/cards under hotel security procedures.
  7. Ensure the front desk is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials.
  8. Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately.
  9. Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure room status and guest needs are met.
  10. Assist in upselling hotel services (e.g., restaurant, spa, room upgrades).
  11. Process payments by cash, credit card, or other methods and issue receipts.
  12. Maintain a professional appearance and follow the hotel’s grooming standards.
  13. Record all incidents and unusual guest interactions in the shift logbook.
  14. Follow company policies, SOPs, and safety guidelines at all times.
