Job Title: Storekeeper
Location: Klang Valley
Job Summary:Responsible for managing inventory, receiving and issuing goods, and ensuring the store is organized, secure, and efficiently run.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
Organize and store items in designated locations for easy retrieval.
Issue materials and products to departments or workers as needed.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing for replenishment.
Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and storage of all items.
Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Report any damages, shortages, or losses promptly.
Use inventory management systems or manual records to track movement of goods.
Requirements:
SPM or equivalent; certificate in logistics or store management is a plus.
Proven experience as a storekeeper or similar role.
Knowledge of inventory procedures and basic stock control.
Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment (if applicable).
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, inventory systems).
