Sandwich Making• Responsible for morning/evening preparation, including;• Storing daily deliveries• Checking deliveries• Filing dockets• Washing vegetables• Preparing salads according to recipes• Setting up display fridge• Soup kettles, baskets, condiments, jugs, sandwiches and rolls to recipe• Operating machinery including slicer, scales, coffee machine, oven and others• Making coffee and tea• Ensuring supplies are being stocked up.• Observing the hygiene standards laid down on the Staff Manual
Quality Assurance• Fully responsible for the quality of the finished product including correctly, evenly spread filling and the freshness of the filing.
Wastage Control• Responsible for reducing costs through controlling wastage, including adjusting orders from suppliers, and portion control.
Hygiene Standards• Responsible for ensuring the day-to-day cleanliness and tidiness of all counters and table seating areas.
Stock Control• Responsible for running a stock-controlled system, including weekly stock-taking, placing orders with prior approval, having adequate supplies at all times and taking into account the frequency of delivery and minimum stock level required.• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
