We are seeking a creative and skilled Pastry cum Baker Chef to prepare a wide variety of pastries, breads, and baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for baking and dessert creation, attention to detail, and experience in both traditional and modern techniques.
Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, tarts, and desserts according to recipes and standards.
Design and create seasonal or special dessert items as required.
Ensure freshness, quality, and presentation of all baked products.
Manage daily production and prep work for pastries and baked items.
Monitor baking supplies and ingredients; assist with ordering and inventory.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery and pastry section.
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products.
Follow food safety standards and kitchen protocols.
Work closely with kitchen team to coordinate service and event requirements.
Proven experience as a baker and/or pastry chef (at least 2–3 years preferred).
Good knowledge of doughs, fillings, pastry techniques, and decoration.
Ability to follow recipes and create new items.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and creativity in presentation.
Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends as needed.
Food safety certification is an advantage.
