Job Title: Outlet Security OfficerLocation: [Johor Bahru]Reports To: Outlet Manager / Security Supervisor
The Outlet Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and store property. This includes monitoring activities, preventing theft, managing crowd control, and ensuring emergency procedures are followed.
Monitor entrance, exit, and store floor to deter theft or suspicious behavior.
Perform regular patrols inside and outside the outlet.
Check bags or packages as needed, based on company policy.
Respond quickly to incidents, disturbances, or alarms.
Assist in handling shoplifters or trespassers professionally.
Ensure emergency exits and fire equipment are accessible and functioning.
Record daily activities, incidents, and irregularities in a security log.
Work closely with outlet staff and management to manage risks and improve safety.
Provide assistance during emergency situations (e.g., evacuation, medical help).
Minimum SPM or equivalent.
Prior experience in security or related field preferred.
Physically fit with alertness and quick response ability.
Strong observation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Certification in basic security training is an advantage.
