We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Assistant to support kitchen operations in our Chinese restaurant. You will help with food preparation, cleaning, and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly during busy service times.
Assist chefs with basic food preparation (e.g., chopping vegetables, marinating, portioning).
Wash, peel, and cut ingredients according to instructions.
Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
Handle dishwashing duties and keep the kitchen tidy at all times.
Restock ingredients and kitchen supplies as needed.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
Dispose of kitchen waste properly.
Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries.
Work closely with chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is an advantage but not required.
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety.
Physical stamina and ability to stand for long hours.
Team player with a positive attitude.
