Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment for guests, residents, or staff. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding the cleanliness standards of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas as assigned

Make beds, change linens, and replenish room amenities

Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust furniture and fixtures

Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor

Replace used towels and toiletries in guest rooms

Follow health and safety regulations at all times

Handle guest requests and complaints in a polite and professional manner

Maintain cleaning supplies and inform supervisor when stock is low

Adhere to company standards and procedures

Assist with laundry duties as needed

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset

Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of performance

Customer-oriented and friendly

Good physical condition and stamina

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks

Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Work Conditions:

Physically demanding work: standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods

Exposure to cleaning agents and varying environmental conditions

Use of protective equipment as required (gloves, masks, etc.)
