  • Assist in basic food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
  • Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned kitchen area in compliance with hotel standards.
  • Prepare ingredients (e.g., washing, peeling, cutting) as directed by the Chef de Partie or a higher-ranking chef.
  • Ensure all food products are stored properly and labeled according to food safety guidelines.
  • Assist in setting up the kitchen before service and cleaning down afterward.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunctions.
  • Support other kitchen sections as needed (hot kitchen, cold kitchen, pastry, etc.).
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Minimize food wastage and practice cost-effective cooking.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and hotel SOPs.
  • Willing to learn and improve culinary skills through training and guidance.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the chef or management team.
