The Chef de Partie, often called a "station chef" or "line cook," will be responsible for overseeing and managing a specific section of the kitchen, like vegetables, grill, or pastry, preparing and cooking dishes within that area, ensuring quality standards are met, and supervising any junior chefs assigned to their station, all while reporting to the Sous Chef and Head Chef; essentially, they lead the food preparation within their designated kitchen section.
